The Seaworld Explorer

The Seaworld Explorer Excursion in Grand Cayman will enable your group to view the true Cayman Islands underwater beauty in the most comfortable and affordable way possible.  The Seaworld Explorer was originally an Australian concept, invented to view the Great Barrier Reef in ultra comfortable conditions.  The Semi-Submersible boat has been easily adapted to the Grand Cayman Seas due to the close proximity of our beautiful reefs from shore!

Passengers on the Explorer are able to reach the Atlantis reservation office within a couple of minutes of their first step on land and the Reef excursion will take you from shore to the most beautiful reefs in the world within 10 short minutes!

The Seaworld explorer is not a Submarine but a fully submerged glass bottom boat!  The extra large windows mounted vertically to the passenger compartment make for an excellent view of our magnificent marine life!

The excursion will take you on a Coral Reef tour of George Town as well as a number of wrecks found very close to our Harbor.  The Tour starts close by the Cruise Ship Landing and departs at convenient times throughout the day.  Once onboard you will be taken to the famed wrecks of the Balboa and the Cali.  You will next cruise on top of Cheese Burger Reef where you will find some of the most pristine coral formations found in Grand Cayman.

The Semi Sub offers an optimal view for the fish feeding part of the excursion.  The viewing area, being 5 feet under water, will place you underwater in air-conditioned comfort without the need to get wet in order to view our brilliant Coral formations!

Seaworld Explorer Excursion Itinerary

	The Atlantis Office is located 2 minutes from the South or North George Town Cruise Ship Terminals.
	You will board the Seaworld explorer directly from shore, there is no need for Taxis or transportation.
	Once you have boarded the Seaworld Explorer you will be able to sit "topside" or in the glass viewing area to the many stops along the way.
	The first stop is on the wreck of the Balboa, followed by the Cali and then the beautiful Cheese Burger Reef.
	The entire excursion will take 1 hour from start to finish, leaving you with plenty of time for shopping or another great Grand Cayman Excursion!
	Requirements:  Tour must be booked On-Line on our secure reservation  system in order to receive this price, the Seaworld Explorer Excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
